The Awards Committee of the Bethel College Alumni Association has named Duane Goossen of Topeka, as the winner of the 2008 Outstanding Alumnus Award.

Goossen, a Republican, is current Kansas Secretary of Administration and State Budget Director in the administration of Democratic Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
