Free webinar to address ‘hiring superior employees’

A free webinar addressing ways to hire superior employees will be presented by Buchanan Human Resources Consulting from noon to 12:50 p.m. on July 10.

The webinar, “How Do I Know I’m Hiring Superman, and Not The Big Bad Wolf?” is designed to educate business professionals on ways to increase their ability to hire or promote employees who are superior performers.

“Most businesses follow a hiring process that really doesn’t have any way of predicting who truly is going to be a superior performer,” said Anita Buchanan, owner of Buchanan Human Resources Consulting. “Yet studies show that the difference between hiring superior employees over average employees has a significant financial impact on a company’s bottom line.”

This program will address the costs to a business associated with turnover. It will also address the costs of hiring less-than-superior performers and will discuss the three components for right-fit hiring and promoting.

The online webinar will be presented by Buchanan. She has a master’s degree in business administration and holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
