Gail Unruh-Revel, LSCSW, CSAT, has been named director of the Center for Sexual Health at Prairie View, and recently completed training to become a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist.
“We want to congratulate Gail on her accomplishments,” said Pamela Burns, vice president of outpatient services at Prairie View. “She is an outstanding clinical social worker who has exemplified professionalism and dedication to the Prairie View mission.”Unruh-Revel began her work at the Center for Sexual Health in 2006 after serving in various roles across the Prairie View system since 1994, including Prairie View Special Purpose School teacher, Emergency Intervention Screening Team member, inpatient social worker and outpatient therapist. Prior to working at Prairie View, she was a teacher in the Newton public school system for 13 years.Unruh-Revel began her CSAT training in January 2008 and began seeing individual clients experiencing sexual compulsivity issues and facilitating groups for sex addicts.
