In response to growth in high-speed internet service from Pixius Commmunications LLC, capacity has been increased in several south-central Kansas communities, including Whitewater.
“Fast connections are necessary to take advantage of all that todays’ internet has to offer,” said CEO Jay Maxwell in a press release. “Providing additional capacity ahead of need is another part of our commitment to service.”
Pixius Communications is a data communications and internet service provider for residences and businesses. Pixius’ wireless broadband was launched in late 2002 in Wichita and now provides service to more than 5,000 customers in Kansas and Missouri. The company headquarters are in Wichita.
