Jay and Sony Jernigan of Manhattan announce the birth of a daughter, Livia Rose Jernigan, who was born Sept. 22, 2009.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jernigan of Council Grove. Maternal grandparent is Ray Salas Jr. of Newton. Sisters are Leah and Laina Jernigan.
At birth, the baby weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
