Andrew and Chandra Spicer of Newton announce the birth of their daughter, Alexia Marie, on Aug. 6, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Kim Hessman of Newton and the late Rinehold Hessman.
Paternal grandparents are Darrell Spicer of Howard and the late Donna Spicer.
Great-grandparents are Pam Basye of Stafford and the late Marvin Basye; Melvin and Eunice Dreher of Great Bend; and Bob and Ruth Hessman of Dodge City.
Great-great-grandparent is Velma Basye of Larned.
