Maternal grandparents are Dorothy and the late Brian McWhirter of Tomball, Texas. Paternal grandparents are Tom and Sharon Arellano of Newton.
At birth, the baby weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. She has blue eyes.
