    Sedgwick 41, Canton-Galva 30
    SEDGWICK — The Sedgwick Cardinal girls held off Canton-Galva 41-30 Friday in HOAL play in Sedgwick.
    The Cardinals snap a three-game losing streak, improving to 3-5, 1-2 in HOAL play.
    Sedgwick led 20-12 at the half. Canton-Galva made a comeback bid in the third quarter, but Sedgwick closed out the game with a 10-4 fourth quarter.
    Audrey Bebermeyer led Sedgwick with 13 points. Shae Ware added 10 points.
    Canton-Galva, 1-6, was led by Cassidy Enns with 18 points.
    Sedgwick play Tuesday at rival Remington.

    MOUNDRIDGE — The Moundridge Wildcats held rival Inman to 10 points in the first half, en route to a 57-23 win Friday in HOAL play in Moundridge.
    The Wildcats took control early, leading 14-2 after the first quarter and scoring 27 points in the second quarter.
    Brooke Holloway led Moundridge with 14 points, followed by Ashley Holler with 13 points.
    Moundridge improves to 6-1, 3-0 in HOAL play. The Wildcats host Hutchinson Trinity Tuesday.

    PEABODY — The Peabody-Burns girls' basketball team claimed its first win of the season, stopping Flinthills 40-32 Friday in non-league play in Peabody.
    Leading 10-9 after the first quarter, the Warriors went on a 10-4 run in the second quarter. Flinthills stayed with Peabody-Burns through the second half.
    Brianna Larsen scored 11 points for the Warriors, followed by Riley McDowell with 10.
    Flinthills, 2-4, was led by Alyssa Howard with 11 points.
    Peabody-Burns, 1-7, hosts Rural Vista Tuesday.

    PEABODY — The Peabody-Burns boys' basketball team claimed a 41-33 non-league win over Flinthills Friday in Peabody.
    The game was tied 15-15 at the half and 23-23 after three quarters. The host Warriors hit eight of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter to pull away.
    Braxton Kyle scored 17 points for the Warriors.
    Peabody-Burns is 3-5 and hosts Rural Vista Tuesday in Wheat State League play.

    MOUNDRIDGE — For the second time this season, the Moundridge High School boys' basketball team needed overtime to down the rival Inman Teutons, winning 71-61 Friday in HOAL play in Moundridge.
    Moundridge led 24-23 at the half, but trailed 42-37 after three quarters. The Wildcats outscored Inman 15-5 in overtime.
    Colton Frazer led Moundridge with 25 points. Garrett Higgins scored 18 points. Hunter Enyart scored 10 points, hitting six of six free throws in overtime.
    Barkley Williams scored 21 points for Inman, 3-5 overall and 1-1 in HOAL play.
    Moundridge is 6-1, 3-0 in HOAL play. The Wildcats host Hutchinson Trinity Tuesday.
