    Moundridge 56, Marion 49
    MARION — The Moundridge High School boys' basketball team put four players in double figures to top Marion 56-49 Tuesday in Heart of America League play in Marion.
    The Wildcats led 14-7 after the first quarter and 27-14 at the half. Moundridge led by 22 after three quarters, but the host Warriors fought back in the fourth to draw within seven.
    Anthony Otte and Colton Frazer each scored 14 points for Moundridge, 5-1 overall and 2-0 in HOAL play. Kyle Huxman scored 11 points. Garrett Higgins scored 10 points.
    Marion, 3-4 overall and 0-1 in league play, was led by Taylor Heidebrecht with 18 points, Zach Robson with 10 points and Timothy Knolla with 10 points.
    Moundridge hosts Inman Friday. The Wildcats beat Inman in overtime in the Moundridge Classic.

    LOST SPRINGS — The Peabody-Burns boys' basketball team fell to the Centre Cougars 67-47 Tuesday in Wheat State League play.
    Centre led 42-19 at the half.
    Ty Simons scored 39 points for Centre, 4-1 overall and 1-0 in WSL play.
    Peabody-Burns falls to 2-5, 1-2 in WSL play. The Warriors host Rosalia Flinthills Friday in non-league play.

    INMAN — The Remington Bronco girls returned from the holiday break with a 60-22 win over Inman Tuesday in Heart of America League play.
    Remington was out of the gates quickly, leading 37-13 at the half.
    Kelcey Hinz scored 18 points for the Broncos, 6-0 overall and 1-0 in HOAL play.
    Inman falls to 2-4, 0-1 in HOAL play.
    Remington hosts Ell-Saline Friday.
