    MOUNDRIDGE — The Moundridge High School girls' basketball team held rival Inman to seven points in the first half, claiming a 50-21 win Tuesday in the Moundridge Classic.
    Moundridge led 15-2 after the first quarter.
    MacKenzie Suderman led the 2-0 Wildcats with 13 points. Brooke Holloway added 12.
    Moundridge plays Lyons Thursday.

    MARION — The Berean Academy girls rebounded from a season-opening loss with a 44-17 win over Belle Plaine in the Marion Invitational.
    Berean led 17-4 after the first quarter and 25-6 at the half.
    Berean continues play in the tournament this week.

    MARION — Loren Pearce scored 23 points to lead the Berean Academy boys' basketball team to a 63-30 win over Belle Plaine Tuesday in the Marion Invitational.
    The Warriors led 31-16 at the half.
    Tyler Busenitz added 10 points for Berean.

    Moundridge 45, Inman 39 OT
    MOUNDRIDGE — The Moundridge Wildcat boys outlasted rival Inman 45-39 Tuesday in the Moundridge Classic.
    The Wildcats led 14-2 after the first quarter and 18-13 at the half. Moundridge led 31-24 after three quarters, but Inman rallied in the fourth to send the game into overtime, which Moundridge controlled 9-3.
    Enyart Hunter led Moundridge with 15 points. Kyle Huxman scored 10.
    Barkey Williams led Inman with 12 points. Tyler Cottam added 11.
    Moundridge hosts Lyons Thursday.
