Thursday, Nov. 28, marks the 18th year for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The dinner is for anyone who doesn't have a place to go for Thanksgiving dinner of for anyone who just simply does not want to cook. There is no cost for the meal.
We will serve turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, cranberries, sugar-free salad, rolls, pie, cake, coffee and tea. You not only get a great meal, but also an opportunity for fellowship with the volunteers and others who come to share the meal. If you need meals delivered, call 283-3610 after 10 a.m.
We would like to thank all the volunteers and businesses in advance for their help for providing food for the dinner. Thank you to First Baptist Church, Salem United Methodist Church, Trinity Heights United Methodist Church and Grace Community Church for support of this effort.
