The Harvey County Caregiver Support Group will meet from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Nov. 14 in Prairie View’s Osage Room, 1901 E. First St., Newton. Amanda Runyan, a licensed master level psychologist with Prairie View, will lead discussion on “Focusing on Self-Care Through Mindfulness and Relaxation.” Admission is free and open to the public.

The support group is open to caregivers for older adults and older adults who are caregivers. The group offers an opportunity for education, mutual support and problem-solving with others who are dealing with similar situations. This includes caregivers whose care receiver has any illness, including dementia.
