Garrett Eldon Hamm passed away on Saturday Oct. 26, 2013 in Moriarty, N.M. He was born in Kingman on Dec/ 25, 1982, and was raised in Pratt, where he graduated from Pratt High School and attended Pratt Community College. He worked at Willard Dairy, Willard, N.M. and was a member of the Moriarty Church of Christ and the Pratt Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Darlene Hamm, and is survived by his father and stepmother, Mark and Julie Hamm of the home and his mother Jo Hamm, Olathe. Garrett is also survived by his brother ,Justin Hamm, Hagerman, N.M.; his stepbrother and wife, Wylee and Kylie Austin, Manhattan; his sister and husband, Corbin and Karl Pulliam, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and sister Macie Hamm, Olathe; grandfather Lee Hamm, Pratt; grandparents Gary and June Thorson, Hot Springs Village, Ark.; and step-grandmother Mary Parkhurst, Russell.
Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the Pratt Church of Christ.
Memorials may be sent to First State Bank, 906 E. 1st Street in Pratt, KS 67124 in memory of Garrett. These memorials will be used to benefit Silver Maple Church Camp in Kingman, where Garrett enjoyed summers learning about our Lord Jesus Christ.
