ARKANSAS CITY — The Berean Academy soccer team ended the regular season with a 5-0 win over Arkansas City Thursday on the road.
David Ladwig turned the hat trick for the Warriors, scoring his first goal 40 seconds into the game on a header. Logan Veer and Colton Leinbach each added a goal. Tyler Busenitz, Andy Phipps and Collin Smith each had an assist.
Dallas Wiebe had seven saves in goal for the clean sheet.
Niklas Schauf had six saves in goal for Arkansas City, 1-15.
Berean ends the season 10-4-1. Berean will host a Class 4-3-2-1A regional game Tuesday. The opponent will be finalized by Saturday.

The Bethel College women's soccer team fell to the University of Saint Mary in three sets Wednesday at Thresher Gym.
Bethel fell 27-25, 25-17, 25-13.
For Saint Mary, 9-20 overall and 3-10 in KCAC play, Aubrey Harris had 10 kills. Danielle Dowdy set 34 assists. Allie Massanet served three aces. Massanet had 22 digs, followed by Paige Brandt with 20. Haley Eastburn had three blocks.
For Bethel, 9-16 overall and 2-11 in KCAC play, Tori Pickens and Jordan Gray each had seven kills. Sam Sheridan had 13 assists, followed by Breetta Moe with 11. Moe served two aces. Katie Regier had 15 digs. Maggie Hans and Jennifer Van Horn each had three blocks.
Bethel hosts Sterling at 2 p.m. Saturday.
