    Hesston 56, Hillsboro 28
    HILLSBORO — Ryan Schadler rushed for 420 yards on 18 carries with six touchdowns to lead the Hesston Swathers to a 56-28 win over Hillsboro Friday in a Central Kansas League cross division game.
    The Swathers led 35-14 at the half.
    Wyatt McKinney hit seven of 10 passes for 93 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Hesston, 4-0. Schadler added a score on a 34-yard pass reception.
    For Hillsboro, Jesse Brown passed for 295 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 80 yards and a score. Jakob Hanschu passed for 51 yards and a score. Evan Ollenburger caught eight passes for 156 yards and a score.
    Hillsboro falls to 2-2.
    Hesston hosts Kingman Friday.

    BROOKVILLE — The Sedgwick Cardinals rebounded from its first loss of the season by stopping Ell-Saline 42-6 Friday in HOAL play in Brookville.
    Dalton Brandt rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Brylie Ware added 101 yards and two touchdowns. Ware hit 13 of 18 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns. Greer Chandler and Tanner Liby each caught a touchdown pass.
    For Ell-Saline, Justin Schmutz rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown. Ell-Saline falls to 2-2.
    Sedgwick is 3-1, 2-0 in HOAL play. Sedgwick plays Friday at home against Hutchinson Trinity.

    MOUNDRIDGE — The Moundridge Wildcats finally got a win, stopping Bennington 47-0 Friday in HOAL play.
    "Finally got some things going offensively," Moundridge coach Courtney Moddelmog said. "We still will need to get some mistakes taken care of."
    Colby Badman led Moundridge with 11 carries for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Javin Foth added 10 carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns. DeShawn Pfeiff rushed for 106 yards. Hunter Enyart added a rushing touchdown. Anthony Otte hit a 37-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Huxman.
    Moundridge is 1-3 and plays Friday at Remington.

    Peabody-Burns 50, Canton-Galva 20
    PEABODY — The Peabody-Burns Warriors stopped Canton-Galva 50-30 in a non-league, non-district battle of unbeatens.
    Down 14-6 at the end of the first quarter, Peabody-Burns made a 30-6 run in the second quarter and held the Eagles scoreless in the second half.
    Fred Windsor rushed for 254 yards and four touchdowns. Clayton Philpott added 66 yards and a rushing touchdown. Kyle Braxton passed for 92 yards and a touchdown, hitting five of seven passes. Kyle Seeney had 86 yards rushing and caught a touchdown pass.
    Peabody-Burns is 4-0 and resumes district play next week at Centre.
