    Goessel (0-3) at Burrton (0-3)
    This is a last-chance game for one of these two teams to get back in the district race after losses in the first week of district play. Goessel fell to Southern Cloud 54-6, while Burrton fell to Tescott 54-8.
    For Goessel, Chase Flaming has 137 yards passing with a touchdown. Miguel Guerrero has 106 yards rushing. Zach Showalter has 109 yards receivng.

    Canton-Galva (3-0) at Peabody-Burns (3-0)
    The good news for both teams is the game doesn't count for either district or league standings. The good news for the fans is this should be one of the better eight-man games in the state for the week. The downside for both teams is there really isn't much of a downside except for possible wounded pride for one team or the other.
    Peabody-Burns is coming off a 52-6 win over Burlingame to open district play in a game that ended at halftime. Canton-Galva is coming off a 72-24 win over Salina St. John's Military in a game that ended in the third quarter.
    The Warriors are led by Braxton Kyle with 311 yards passing and two touchdowns, along with 232 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Fred Windsor has 326 yards rushing with eight touchdowns. Kevin Baatrup has 165 yards receiving with a touchdown. Kyle Seeney leads the defense with 21 total tackles.
