    team falls to GE
    GODDARD — The Newton High School boys' soccer team fell to Goddard Eisenhower 3-2 Tuesday in non-league play in Goddard.
    Scoring details were not reported at deadline.
    Newton is 4-2-2 and host Andover Central at 6:30 p.m. today at Fischer Field.

    Newton High School junior varsity girls' golf teams placed 10th and 15th Tuesday at a scramble format tournament at the Fox Ridge Golf Course.
    Hutchinson won the tournament at 45, winning a tie-breaker over a pair of Goddard Eisenhower teams.
    The team of Katie Smet and Khirra Salsberry placed 10th at 57. The team of Morgan Barnes, Maggie Rostetter and Haley Southern placed 15th at 67.
    Newton competes today at the Goddard Eisenhower Invitational.
