Mock succeeds John Blazek, who retired after three seasons with the team, leading the Wild to the Champions Professional Indoor Football League title last season.
Mock is a 2008 Wichita State graduate with a degree in sports administration. He served as assistant general manager and director of ticket operations for the Wichita Wingnuts baseball team. He also worked for the Wichita Thunder hockey team
"I am extremely excited about the opportunities available with the Wichita Wild as the new General Manager," Mock said. "With the team coming off a 2013 CPIFL Championship and being named the 2013 CPIFL Franchise of the Year, it’s even more of an exciting time to be coming into a top notch organization. I have been involved in Wichita professional sports from the beginning of my career and I feel learning from these experiences will help me to keep this team in tune with the cities of Park City and Wichita and continue to grow into South Central Kansas."
