LINCOLN, Neb. — Members of the Bethel College cross country teams competed at the Woody Greeno-Nebraska Invitational Saturday at Pioneer Park in Lincoln.
Bethel competed in the small college division.
For the Bethel women, freshman Katelyn Fatten finished 51st out of 185 runners in 24:44.10 (6,000 meters). Regina Hafner was 111th in 26:27.60. Olivia Gehring placed 164th in 29:32.40. Katherine Fry placed 175th in 31:01.80. The Threshers needed one more runner to post a team score.
The Bethel men were led by Laird Goertzen, who placed 183rd in 30:50.70 (8,000 meters). Aaron Topham was 212th in 32:35.40.
Bethel competes Saturday at the Tabor Invitational at Harvey County East Park.
