  • INMAN — The Remington Bronco volleyball team placed third Saturday at the Inman Invitational.
    In pool play, Remington finished 3-0. Remington opened with a 25-17, 25-10 win over Fairfield. Kylee Schunn was 11 of 11 serving. Jasmine Ingalsbe had nine assists. Katie Nash had six good passes. Alyssa Hinz had four aces and seven good passes. Deanna Ingalsbe had four good attacks and two kills. Kelcey Hinz had 10 good passes.
    Remington downed Hutchinson Central Christian 25-9, 25-18. Madison Janzen was 12 for 12 serving with five aces, and had 14 good attacks with seven kills. Schunn had 13 good passes with four good attacks and two kills. Kristyn Wedel had 10 good attacks and six kills. Hinz had seven good passes. Nash went nine of 11 serving.
    Remington closed out pool play with a 25-13, 25-9 win over Inman. Jasmine Ingalsbe went seven of seven serving with nine good attacks and three kills. Wedel went six of six serving with three aces. Janzen had 12 good attacks with nine kills, and went 11 of 12 serving with three aces. Hinz went seven of eight serving with two aces.
    In the semifinals, Remington fell to Heart of America League rival Moundridge 23-25, 25-22, 25-14. Schunn went eight of eight serving. Wedel had 10 good attacks with six kills, and had 12 total blocks, downing six. Deanna Ingalsbe had 12 good attacks with six kills, and 15 total blocks with five downed. Janzen set 11 assists. Hinz went 10 of 11 serving with five good attacks and five blocks. Jasmine Ingalsbe went 11 of 11 serving with six kills and 13 assists.
    In the third-place match, Remington stopped Inman 25-21, 25-14. Janzen had 16 good attacks with eight kills and eight assists. Schunn went 16 of 16 serving. Wedel had 11 good attacks, six kills and 12 good passes. Deanna Ingalsbe had eight good attacks, three kills and six downed blocks. Jasmine Ingalsbe had 12 assists.
    Remington is 5-2 and hosts Berean Academy and Sedgwick at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
