  • Stuckys to mark 50th

  • Gordon and LaDeen Stucky of Newton, Kansas, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 17, 2013.
    They were married Aug. 17, 1963, at First Mennonite Church in Newton. Rev. Arnold Epp officiated.
    Gordon and LaDeen are actively involved in farming, living on the family farm. LaDeen retired from teaching for USD 373 in 2006, and  now works as an E.L.L. para at South Breeze Elementary School. They have three grown children: Doug (and Robyn) Stucky, Brad (and Lynda) Stucky and Amy Stucky. They also thoroughly enjoy their eight grandchildren: Joshua, Seth and Luke Stucky; and Alyssa, Hannah, Landon, Parker and Emma Hope Stucky, all of Newton.
    Their children and grandchildren will host a reception in their honor this fall.
