HESSTON — Skylar Tripp of Craig, Colo., signed a letter of intent to play for the Hesston College women's soccer team beginning this fall.
Tripp was a goalkeeper at Moffat County High School, where she was a team captain and honorable mention all-conference as a senior. She helped lead her team to a school record eight wins and a playoff berth as a senior. She was first-team all-conference as a junior.
"Skylar is fearless and I'm pleased to add a keeper with her experience," Hesston coach Bryan Kehr said. "She's been playing club soccer since she was five, and, coming from a soccer family it's clear she has a strong knowledge of the game developed over the years with her father as her coach."
Tripp intends to study graphic design at Hesston.
