  • Michael Rogers, 56, of Inman died Wednesday of injuries from a motorcycle accident — the motorcycle he was riding apparently hit a deer Tuesday.
At  4:52 a.m., Tuesday Harvey County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 10000 block of N. Hesston Road in Harvey County on a report of a motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, Deputies found Rogers laying on the southeast side of the road way, in an unresponsive condition. It appeared Rogers had hit a deer in the roadway. Rogers had not been wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Rogers was taken to St Francis Hospital in critical condition. At 1:17 a.m. Wednesday Rogers was pronounced dead. According to the Sheriff's Department, Rogers had left his home in Inman and was on his way to work at AGCO in Hesston when the accident occurred.
