    WICHITA — The Wichita Wingnuts won their fourth straight game, stopping the Sioux City Explorers 13-5 Friday in American Association play at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
    Wichita jumped out 7-1 after two innings, putting things to rest with a run in the seventh and five more in the eighth.
    Jake Kahaulelio went two for four hitting with a home run and four RBIs. C.J. Ziegler also drove in four runs. Cole Armstrong went two for three hitting with a home run and three RBIs. John Rodriguez drove in two runs. Ryan Khoury went three for three hitting, scoring four runs.
    For Sioux City, Sam Judah went two for two hitting with a home run and two RBIs. Alberto Espinosa also drove in two runs. Luke Murton added an RBI. Eliezer Mesa went three for three, scoring two runs. Yusuke Inoguchi went two for three hitting.
    Wichita's Anthony Capra (2-0) went six innings for the win, striking out five and allowing four runs on seven hits with a walk. Preston Olson (1-2) took the loss, allowing eight runs on six hits with four walks and five strikeouts in 6 1-3 innings.
    Wichita is 27-14, while Sioux City is 17-23. The series continues at 7:05 p.m. today at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
