Spare mixing sticks make sanding easy

When faced with refinishing the louvered closet doors in his house, Club member Gene Alday of Carmel, Indiana, was having problems sanding away the paint between the individual louvers ó he couldnít get the sandpaper between the slats. To solve the problem, he glued strips of sandpaper to both faces of a standard paint-mixing stick. The mixing stick was just the right thickness so he could simultaneously sand both the front and back of the overlapping louvers. Brought to you by: American Profile
