NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — Wichita Thunder goaltender Torrie Jung stopped all 29 shots on goal he faced in a 3-0 win over the Fort Worth Brahmas Thursday night at the NYTEX Center. Wichita now holds a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven Central Hockey League playoff semifinal series. Jung improves to 7-0 in goal during the playoffs. It was his second playoff shutout this year. He improves is playoff goals-against-average to 1.53 and his playoff save percentage to .937. Matt Robinson scored a goal with an assist for the Thunder. Les Reaney and Matt Summers each added a goal in the third period. R.G. Flath, Kevin Young and Todd Griffith each added an assist. Brad Fogel had 22 saves in goal for Fort Worth. Game four of the series is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the NYTEX Center. A Wichita win puts the Thunder in the finals for the second straight season.
