WICHITA — The Wichita Thunder scored three first-period goals en route to a 4-3 win over the Fort Worth Brahmas Thursday in game two of a best-of-seven series in the Central Hockey League Ray Miron President’s Cup playoff semifinals at Intrust Bank Arena. R.G. Flath scored two goals for Wichita. Greger Hanson and Ian Lowe added goals. Matt Summers dished two assists. Chad Painchaud, Travis Wight, Kevin Young, Nathan Lutz and Matt Robinson each added an assist. Torrie Jung improves to 6-0 in net for the Thunder, stopping 22 of 25 Brahma shots. Ross Rouleau scored two goals for Fort Worth, both power play goals in the second period. Colin Mulvey added a goal in the third period. Shawn Szydlowski, Sy Nutkevitch, Jared Lavender, Ricky Helmbrecht, Tomas Klempa and Derrick Pallis each added an assist. Kristofer Westblom had three saves and three goals against in the first 13:04 of play. Brad Fogel finished the game, posting 15 saves. Wichita takes a two-game lead in the best-of-seven series. Game three is set for 7:30 p.m. April 18 at North Richland Hills, Texas.
