Obituary: Stephen W. Fisher

Stephen W. Fisher, 53, passed away March 4, 2013, at Via Christi – St. Joseph, Wichita, Kansas.

He was born April 30, 1959, in Big Spring, Texas, the son of Monte and Carolyn (Cave) Fisher. He was a computer scientist at Boeing for nearly 29 years. He was a graduate of Remington High School and Wichita State University.

On June 19, 1999, he was united in marriage to Magda Colón.

He is lovingly survived by his wife: Magda Fisher of Bel Aire; children: Christina Montoya of Chandler, Ariz., and Jason Rodriguez of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; his parents: Monte and Carolyn Fisher of Whitewater; sisters: Deanna and Chuck Miller of Valley Center and Deborah and Jerry Buttel of Whitewater; and six grandchildren.

Visitation with family: 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. Funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Federated Church, Whitewater. Interment in the Whitewater Cemetery.
