  • MANHATTAN — The Moundridge High School boys’ basketball team traveled about 110 miles to face an opponent that lies just 16 miles away, but the Wildcats probably aren’t complaining too much after a 48-41 win over Heart of America League rival Inman Teutons Wednesday in the Class 2A state quarterfinals at Bramlage Coliseum.?Moundridge, 19-5, takes on top-ranked and unbeaten Meade at 4:45 p.m. Friday. Meade downed Oswego 80-43.?Moundridge trailed 10-9 after the first quarter, but surged ahead in the second quarter to lead 23-18 at the half. Moundridge increased its advantage to 33-25 after three quarter.?Moundridge was 17 of 46 from the field, while Inman was 11 of 47.?Daniel Ratzlaff led Moundridge with 12 points. Ryan Lorimor added 10 points. Hunter Enyart pulled down 14 rebounds.?Inman, which ends the season 18-6, was led by Josh Miller with 12 points. Justin Friesen added 10 points.?Moundridge wins the season series between the two teams 2-1.
