  • Have a stack of DVDs at home you bought but only watched once, or a pile of video games you've already played and are now collecting dust? You may not want those old DVDs and video games anymore, but Jeff Boll does.He recently opened Game On at the Chisholm Trail Center-Outlet & Retail Shops in Newton, a store that specializes in used DVDs, video games and other items. People can sell their items, trade in their items for different products, or buy some of the used items in the shop.Boll opened a Game On shop five years ago in Hutchinson and wanted to expand into the Newton market. He used to have customers from the Newton area who would travel to Hutchinson to visit his shop, and he said those customers now will be able to access Game On's services a little closer to home."We've had a good response already," he said.In addition to recent used video games, DVDs and Blu-rays, the store also offers vintage video games, skateboards, body jewelry, iPods and game systems and accessories.Vintage video games†are a growing trend in the industry, and Boll said more and more customers are interested in playing classic games from the past."Every generation's going back to what they grew up on," he said.If a customer can't find the product he or she is looking for, Game On can transfer that item from the Hutchinson store, or special order the item if it isn't available at either location. The store also offers disc cleaning and system repair services. For more information, contact 804-4942. The store is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.†
