    KCAC finals?postponed

    WICHITA — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championship basketball games scheduled for Monday at Hartman Arena have been postponed until Tuesday.?In the men’s championship game at 6 p.m., McPherson (14-17) will play Sterling (21-10).?In the women’s championship game at 8 p.m., Kansas Wesleyan (18-12) will face Southwestern (22-7).?The winners advance to the NAIA Division II National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa (women) and Point Lookout, Mo. (men).

    Wings fall?to Comets

    WICHITA — The Wichita Wings fell to the Missouri Comets 15-11 Sunday at Hartman Arena in Major Indoor Soccer League play.?Wichita led 6-0 after the first quarter, but Missouri fought back to lead 8-6 at the half. Tied 8-8 after three quarters, the Comets made a 7-3 run in the final period.’?Jeff Hughes, Mads Falck and Brian Harris each scored two goals for Missouri. Both of Harris’ goals were 3-pointers. Vahid Assadpour had three assists.?For the Wings, Frederico Moojen score two goals. Andrew Hoxie, Daniel Villegas and Victor Quiroz each added an assist.?Sanaldo had 10 saves in goal for Wichita. Danny Waltman had 13 saves in goal for Missouri.?The Comets improve to 12-13. Wichita drops to 7-18. Wichita ends the season at 4 p.m. Sunday at Milwaukee.
