    HALSTEAD — The Halstead High School girls’ basketball team fell to Pratt 62-17 Tuesday in Central Kansas League play in Halstead. Halstead trailed 40-8 at the half. Breann Becker led Pratt with 15 points. Stonie Fleming added 14. For Halstead, Sydney Beat and Marci Diepenbrock each scored four points. Halstead ends the regular season Tuesday at Haven.

    ELBING — The Berean Academy girls’ basketball team topped Heart of America League rival Remington 48-38 Friday in Elbing. Berean led 24-19 at the half. Xannie Quiring led Berean with 11 pointys. Abbi Landis added 10 points. Kylee Schunn scored 14 points for Remington. Kristyn Wedel added 11 points. Berean ends the regular season Tuesday at Goessel. Remington ends the regular season Tuesday at home against Oxford.

    CANTON — The Goessel Bluebird girls downed rival Canton-Galva Friday in non-league play in Canton. Tied 23-23 at the half, Goessel pulled away to lead 37-30 after three quarters. Jessica Harvey and Page Hiebert each scored 15 points for Goessel. Johanna Hoffman added 13. Erika Smith led Canton-Galva with 15 points. Goessel ends the regular season at 6 p.m. Tuesday at home against Berean Academy.

    MOUNDRIDGE — The Moundridge Wildcat girls put four scorers in double figures to stop Peabody-Burns 57-22 Friday in non-league play in Moundridge. Moundridge led 34-12 at the half. Tiffany Huxman and Michelle Schrag scored 14 points each for Moundridge. MacKenzie Suderman scored 13 points and Brooke Holloway added 11 points. Peabody-Burns was led by Paige Lewis with seven points. Moundridge hosts Ellinwood Tuesday to close out the regular season. Peabody-Burns plays Tuesday at Hope.
