William Barnes led Hesston with 18 points, followed by Mahlon Jones with 13, Beau Palmer with 13 and Armond Patterson with 12. For Rhema, 6-12, Dewayne Foster and Jamie Hammond each scored 14 points. Brody Christian and Kasey Byrd each scored 11 points. Hesston is 15-6 and hosts Brown Mackie at 8 p.m. today.

The Larks led 35-23 at the half, but was held to 15 points in the second half and three points in overtime. Cottey, 12-1, was led by Dayna Turnbull with 16 points and Blaklee Sanders with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Destiva Davis scored 15 points for Hesston. Monday, Hesston downed Rhema Bible Training College 74-49. Hesston led 41-22 at the half. Davis scored 22 points for Hesston. For Rhema, 13-11, Kaitlin Byrd scored 16 points, followed by Jamie Davis with 11 and Vanessa Zailo with 10 points and 17 rebounds. Hesston is 9-11 and hosts Brown Mackie at 6 p.m. today.
