  • WICHITA — The Wichita Thunder gained a measure of payback from the Fort Worth Brahmas Friday, posting a 4-0 win Friday at the Intrust Bank Arena in Central Hockey League play. Wichita avenges a 5-1 loss to the Brahmas Wednesday on the road, which snapped a seven-game winning streak for the Thunder. Wichita goallie Torrie Jung stopped all 23 Brahma shots on goal for the shutout win, his first of the season and the third of the season for the team. Jung even got a point in the scoring column with an assist. Kristrofer Westblom had 27 saves against 30 Wichita shots. Todd Griffith led Wichita in scoring with a goal and an assist. Ryan Flanigan, Matt Summers and Neil Trimm each added goals. Greger Hanson, Erick Lizon, Travis Wight, Kevin Young, Nathan Lutz and Andrew Martins each added an assist. Wichita improves to 18-8-2, two points ahead of Allen in first place in the CHL. Fort Worth falls to 12-10-4. Wichita plays today at Allen.Ft.
