An un-named breeder is voluntarily surrendering Twenty-two Lhasa Apsos and fifteen Chihuahuas to the Kansas Department of Agriculture Animal Health Division. The Caring Hands Humane Society (CHHS) is expecting to rescue approximately seventeen of these animals.
The Animal Health Division anticipates the animals will arrive in Newton, at the CHHS, around 4 p.m. today. When the animals arrivestaff will close the shelter to the public. Caring Hands will have all of the animals available for viewing at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
