Berean Academy led 18-7 at the half, holding Peabody-Burns scoreless in the third quarter. Wynette Sommerfeld scored 12 points to lead Berean Academy, 4-1. Sara Hoover added nine points. Peabody-Burns, 3-3, was led by Paige Lewis with six points. Berean Academy plays Tuesday at Canton-Galva. Peabody-Burns led 22-18 at the half. Berean replied with a 14-4 run in the third quarter. Kameron Wiebe led Berean Academy with 17 points. Loren Pearce added 12 points. Tommy Morris led Peabody-Burns with 15 points. Peabody-Burns is 3-3 and hosts Centre Tuesday. Regan posted his second shutout of the season. Todd Griffith led the Thunder in scoring with two goals and an assist. Greger Hanson scored two goals. Matt Summers and Kevin Young each added a goal with an assist. Chad Painchaud and R.G. Flath each had two assists. Brad Fogel had 20 saves for Fort Worth. Wichita improves to 15-7-2. Fort Worth falls to 10-9-3. Wichita hosts Tulsa at 7:05 p.m. today.
