  •  Bethel men drop ninth straight

  • The Bethel College men’s basketball team dropped its ninth straight game, falling to Tabor College 96-71 Saturday at Thresher Gym. Bethel, 1-12 overall and 0-4 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. Tabor improves to 4-9, 3-1 in KCAC play. The Bluejays won their third straight. Tabor shot 48.4 percent from the field (30 of 62), while Bethel was 36.5 percent (23 of 63). Bethel was outrebounded 46-35. Robbie Samuel led Tabor with 21 points. Ryan Chippeaux added 14 points. Brent Jackson scored 13 points. Reggie Butler scored 12 points. Nathen Yunker led Bethel with 10 points.
