  • Cold shooting BC women fall to Tabor

  • The Bethel College women’s basketball team struggled mightily from the field, shooting just 22.4 percent in a 71-42 loss to Tabor College Saturday in KCAC play at Thresher Gym. Tabor was 22 of 49 shooting for 44.9 percent. Bethel hit just 13 of 58 from the field. Tabor outscored Bethel 27-3 from 3-point range. Tabor led 39-20 at the half. Nikki Lewis and Katlyn Mary scored 19 points each for Tabor, 7-5 overall and 4-0 in KCAC play. Janelle Rust added 10 points. Lauren Ulrich led Bethel with 14 points. Jaime Tschetter added 11 points. Taylor Durant had 11 rebounds. Bethel falls to 4-8, 1-3 in KCAC play. Bethel hosts NAIA Division I Graceland at 1 p.m. Saturday at Thresher Gym.
