Leason Horton "Pete" McCloud peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday (June 17, 2013) at Newton Medical Center.

Pete was born Dec. 29, 1918, to Sidney and Elizabeth McCloud in Neosho, Mo. He was number six of eight boys.

She was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Goessel, the daughter of William and Linda Enz Unruh. She had worked as a CNA for 47 years at both the Bethesda Hospital and then later at the Bethesda Home. She and her husband were foster parents to more than 125 children.
