Friends (6-4) at Tabor (7-2)
Last week, Tabor downed Southwestern 51-27, while Friends lost to Ottawa 35-3. Tabor moved up three spots on the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics poll to 17th. Tabor can win the conference title with a win, coupled with an Ottawa loss to Bethel. If Ottawa and Tabor both win, the Bluejays are on the bubble for an at-large berth in the NAIA playoffs, needing to move up at least three spots in the poll. Tabor quarterback Simon McKee has 882 yards passing and 891 yards rushing. James Monroe Jr. has 948 yards rushing. Scott Bauer has 196 yards receiving. For Friends, Thomas Hankerson has 904 yards rushing. James Bristow has 1,063 yards passing. Chris Allen has 473 yards receiving.
Kansas Wesleyan (6-4) at Saint Mary (5-5)
Kansas Wesleyan was upended by McPherson 28-24 last week, while Saint Mary downed Bethel 86-6. Kansas Wesleyan can share the KCAC title with losses by Tabor and Ottawa, but with no mention in the NAIA poll, the Coyotes are a longshot at best for reaching the NAIA playoffs. After an 0-4 start, Saint Mary has won five of its last six games. Saint Mary quarterback Mike Keese has 2,977 yards passing, ranking him second in the NAIA in passing yards. Evan Hearn has 511 rushing yards. Jerrell Young has 919 receiving yards, followed by Ronnie Cooper with 899 yards. For Kansas Wesleyan, Brett Giesen has 1,162 rushing yards. Trey Dallas has 2,079 yards passing. Zach McClain has 753 yards receiving.
Southwestern (4-6) at Bethany (2-8)
Southwestern lost to Tabor last week, while Bethany fell to Sterling 17-10. Southwestern is on a three-game losing streak. Bethany’s Tevis Linnebur has 1,012 yards rushing. Darby House has 2,053 yards passing. Brandon Martino has 772 yards receiving. For Southwestern, Jordan Barrett has 1,285 yards passing. Tanner Strohl has 457 yards rushing, followed by Anthony Sims with 408 yards. Joe Vargas has 488 yards receiving, followed by Ceth Bannister with 413.
McPherson (4-4) at Sterling (2-7)
McPherson upset Kansas Wesleyan last week. Sterling downed Bethany. McPherson’s Jake Snodgrass has 1,824 yards passing and 476 yards rushing. Terrance Jones has 454 yards rushing. Julius Record has 853 yards receiving. For Sterling, Denton Hudspeth has 753 yards rushing and 188 yards passing. John Cardona has 902 yards passing and 412 yards rushing. Jordan Coleman has 549 yards receiving.
