Lindsay Wiebe of Peabody and Brian Lightner of Peabody wed at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Zion Mennonite Church in Elbing. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Ryan Mackey, cousin of the groom. The bride’s parents are Randall and Raeanne Wiebe of Peabody, and the groom’s parents are Gene and Carol Lightner of Inman. The bride was escorted by her father, Randall Wiebe. The couple honeymooned at Yellowstone National Park and will be making their home in rural Peabody. The bridge graduated in 2006 from Peabody-Burns High School. She graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree and in 2011 with a master’s degree, both from KSU. She is now employed as a speech language pathologist for the Marion County Special Education Cooperative in Marion. The groom graduated from Inman High School in 2002, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Tabor College and a master’s degree from Fort Hays State University in 2011. He is now employed as a mathematics teacher and coach at Peabody-Burns High School.
