  • Manor hosts holiday shopping event“Browse & Shop,” a holiday shopping experience for Presbyterian Manor residents, staff and the general public, will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Manor’s Broadway Apartments, 1200 E. Broadway. Local vendors include Avon, BonWorth Clothing Store, Faith & Life Bookstore, Harvest Greenhouse, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Odd Balls Yarn Shop, Pampered Chef, Premier Jewelry, Premier Books & Gifts, Scentsy and Wrapture. Manor employees also are hosting a bake sale. The activity staff at Presbyterian Manor plan this annual event as a holiday gift to residents who enjoy shopping but are not getting out as often as they used to. “This event will enable residents to purchase gifts for their families, try on clothes for themselves, and just browse through the displays,” said Melinda Ebersole, activity director. “We want community members to also feel welcome to get some early holiday shopping done.” For more information, contact Ebersole at 283-5400.Berean Academy to present special showThe Berean Academy Seniors will be presenting “The Prince & the Pauper” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10 in the Berean Jr. High Gym.
