  • The Bethel College women’s soccer team opened Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a 2-0 loss to Ottawa University Wednesday at Joe W. Goering Field.?Ottawa scored both goals in the first half. Angelica Tapia and Kallie Binder each scored for the Braves. Annie Kessler added an assist.?Bethel was outshot 12-1. Madison Wiles has eight saves in goal for Bethel. Erin Stengel had one save for Ottawa in the shutout win.?Ottawa improves to 7-3.
