  • The Bethel College volleyball team continues to struggle after a three-set loss to rival Tabor College Thursday in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play at Thresher Gym. Tabor won 25-17, 25-20, 25-22. Katie Vogts had 14 kills for Tabor, followed by Jessie Vogts and Katelin Horstick with 11. Hollister Wolf set 45 assists for the Bluejays. Katie Vogts had two aces. Amy Jo Maphet had 17 digs, followed by Katie Vogts with 16. Jessica Wollenberg downed three blocks. Wolf and the two Vogts are all Moundridge High grads. For Bethel, Jordan Gray had 16 kills, followed by Lindsey Chandler with nine. Amber Blount set 33 assists. Whitney Steingard had 12 digs, followed by Chandler with 11. Chandler downed two blocks. Tabor improves to 7-6, 3-3 in KCAC play. Bethel drops its eighth straigt match, falling to 7-11, 1-5 in KCAC play.
