See the Wizard

Three highlights
1 A classic tale. The Frank Baum book was made into one of Hollywood’s most beloved movies in 1939. It’s the story of Dorothy Gale, who is swept away to a magical land by a Kansas tornado. Once there, she travels the yellow brick road on a quest to return home.

2 Familiar faces. The cast of the Newton Community Theater features people from the Newton area, the kind of people you’ll see at the grocery store or at other community events. You may see a neighbor, and discover a talent you didn’t know they had.
3 Beat the heat.  The show is a chance to get out of the house, but yet stay away from the 100 degree weather. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory which will not expire until Sunday night.
