The elections this year in Kansas will have a great impact on the future of Kansas.  For those of us in the 31st Senate District have an even greater responsibility to elect someone that believes the state should meet its obligations in funding education and assistance to vulnerable residents as stated by H. Edward Flentje, a professor at Wichita State University.  That someone we need to cast our vote for is Carolyn McGinn.
Carolyn McGinn has represented us well, serving as Chairman of the Ways and Means (budget) Committee.  She has supported and balanced the needs of education, ageing and the disabled while at the same time exercising restraint on taxing and spending.
August 7 is the date of the primary.  The senate race will be decided in the primary – so put the date on your calendar and act!  I will be voting for Carolyn McGinn and would appreciate your vote for Carolyn McGinn also.  Thank You!
