Eighth Annual Newton Downtown Car Show • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. • downtown Newton. No cost to attend the show. There is a $20 entry fee for vehicles in advance or $25 the day of the show. In conjunction with the car show, the Historic Fox Theatre will have a 1950s/1960s rock-and-roll concert featuring Dale Kenny and the Nite Classiks Band. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available from Midland Bank, First Bank, Karen’s Kitchen and Citizen’s State Bank inside Wal-Mart. Ticket information is available at (316) 409-3048.
