The Bethel Collge menís basketball team won its second straight game, stopping the Ottawa Braves 68-66 Saturday in KCAC play at Thresher Gym.

Bethel improves to 3-18, 3-9 in KCAC play. Bethel is two games behind Bethany and Friends for seventh and eighth place in the conference with six games remaining. The top eight teams advance to the conference playoffs.

Ottawa falls to 9-13, 6-6 in KCAC play. The Braves are in a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference.

Bethel led 31-22 at the half, holding off a Braves comeback in the second half.

Lee Griffin led Bethel with 19 points. Robbie Wright and Trey Ronnebaum scored 14 points each.

Chase Dippel led Ottawa with 16 points, followed by Stephen Feighny with 14, Brock McGinnis with 12 and Larry Barber with 10.

Bethel plays at 8 p.m.Thursday at Bethany.
