Emily Fisher of Wichita was joined in marriage on Oct. 15, 2011, to Chad Wahlgren of Buhler at the Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine.


Emily Fisher of Wichita was joined in marriage on Oct. 15, 2011, to Chad Wahlgren of Buhler at the Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine.

Parents of the couple are Vincent and Lora Fisher of rural Burrton, and Dennis and Jeanie Wahlgren of Salina.

Pastor Rick Goertzen officiated the double-ring ceremony. Honor attendants for the bride were Rachel Biggs and Shannon McBride of Wichita, Tracie Wiebe of Park City, Amanda Kippenberger of Derby, Christann Covey of Topeka and Rochelle Napier of Hutchinson.

The groom's honor attendants were Michael Temple of Prairie Village, Brian Haines of Independence, Mo., Curtis Morgan of Buhler, Brandon Ebert of Salina, Anthony White of Memphis, Tenn., and Matt Perry of Salina.

Guitar and vocal music were provided by Mike McClary of Halstead, and flute selections were performed by Lynette Pelischek of Hutchinson.

Lantern bearers were Yashima Armstrong of Burrton, Caroline Fisher of Hanahan, S.C., and Kennedy Fisher of Wichita. Flower girl was Caitlin Fisher of Hanahan, S.C., and sign bearer was Aiden Fisher of Wichita.

A reception was at the arboretum following the ceremony.

Emily is a registered dental hygienist for Dr. Dalton Hunt in Buhler, and Chad is a teacher and coach at Buhler High School. The couple has made their home in Buhler.
