The Bethel College menís basketball team broke a 12-game losing streak, stopping Kansas Wesleyan 78-72 Thursday in KCAC play at Thresher Gym.

Bethel improves to 2-18, 2-9 in KCAC play. Wesleyan falls to 2-20, 0-11 in KCAC play. The Threshers sweep the season series.

Bethel led 41-22 at the half, holding off a late KW comeback.

Lee Griffin led the Threshers with 21 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Justin Baldia with 17.

Kansas Wesleyan was led by Dylan Briscoe with 19 points, followed by Dane Brinker with 17 and Seth Smith with 10.

Bethel hosts Ottawa at 4 p.m. today.
